The XL160 Series provides up to 90% efficiency in a 160 watt power supply with. Reduced heat generation and high reliability in AC-DC power supplies are key design requirements. Also the open frame design requires little forced air cooling to decrease AC loads which increase reliability and economy of operation required in many military and medical power supplies.
